Keep in mind that the roads around the circuit are closed during the race weekend. However, ticket holders will be able to freely access the gates to the venue via the footbridge and underpass.

Also, remember that there is no parking available for visitors, so it is recommended that you use public transport.

Bus

Baku’s bus network is also integrated into the BakıKART system. Most modern buses accept the card, while a few older vehicles may still charge a flat fare of 0.20 AZN in cash. Buses provide extensive coverage of the city and can be a good option if you are staying outside the metro network. During the Grand Prix, bus timetables are typically adjusted and extended to help manage the increase in passengers.

Metro

The Baku Metro is the easiest and most efficient way to reach the Baku City Circuit. The nearest stations are Icherisheher, Sahil, and 28 May, all of which are within walking distance of different parts of the track and fan zones. A single ride costs 0.30 AZN, payable with the BakıKART transport card, which is available at most stations. Metro services are usually extended during race weekend to accommodate fans, though the exact timetable may vary, so it is best to check local updates before travelling.

Taxi 

Taxis are widely available in Baku, and international ride-hailing apps such as Uber and Bolt operate alongside local services. A typical ride from Heydar Aliyev International Airport to the city center costs between 30 and 35 AZN (about 18–20 USD), depending on traffic and demand. While some older guides mention a dedicated express minibus from the airport to the city, recent official sources do not confirm its regular operation, so visitors are advised to use buses, taxis, or ride-hailing apps instead.
