The Baku City Circuit provides several services to support disabled spectators attending the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix. Visitors in wheelchairs can purchase a special wheelchair ticket, which also includes a free companion ticket. Designated accessible viewing areas are located at the Absheron Grandstand, Section E, which can be accessed through Gate A, and at the Bakcell Grandstand near Gate E. Trained staff are available in these areas to assist visitors with disabilities throughout the event.
Wheelchairs can be rented at information points around the circuit, usually with a deposit or an ID, and there are accessible toilets located in the Fan Zone, the Concert Zone and the Games Park. While the circuit itself has made an effort to be accessible, the distances between entertainment areas can be large, which may be challenging for people with reduced mobility even if they do not use a wheelchair.
Outside the circuit, accessibility is more limited. Public transport in Baku, such as the metro and buses, often lacks elevators and step-free access, and the cobblestone streets in parts of the city can be difficult for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. Access to the circuit during race weekend is mainly via underground passages and pedestrian overpasses, which may not always be fully suitable for everyone.
Wheelchairs are available for hire at all information points. Either a deposit or ID must be left to rent a wheelchair.
